What is a QPR Gatekeeper?
A QPR gatekeeper is someone in a position to recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide.
What do Certified Gatekeepers do?
- Recognize suicide risk factors, common stressors, and warning signs
- Understand suicide as a public health issue
- Apply QPR to support someone at risk
- Locate and refer to resources within Vanderbilt
