If you’re an assistant professor without R03, R21, or similar national grant-level research funding who studies cancer, the American Cancer Society wants to give you $30,000 to help you get preliminary data for an independent research grant submission. You can be on a K or equivalent to apply for this award, but don’t have to be.
Special Interests awards are available for faculty members with an interest in the psychosocial and behavioral aspects of cancer and are encouraged to apply.
