Rebecca Helton, MA, has been with Edge for Scholars since 2012 and directs programs to help early career researchers succeed, including an internal career development award (VFRS), KL2/TL1 award, mock study section (Edge Reviews), manuscript sprints, and the Newman Society for faculty on K or equivalent awards. She has two English degrees and a certification in medical editing from the American Medical Writers Association, and puts her writing and editing background to work as the managing editor of EdgeforScholars.org, working with new bloggers to craft engaging, practical content and writing posts that distill local and national seminars, offer writing advice, and summarize new requirements from funding agencies.
