Manuscript Sprints

On your mark, get set, go…to submission of your next manuscript!
Manuscript sprints are small peer review groups that encourage authors to press to completion of a manuscript in 6 to 8 weeks.

Investigators from across the clinical, translational, and basic sciences, whether university or medical center, are welcome. While groups are aimed at early career faculty, any investigator who has published at least one paper can participate.

Sprint teams of 3 to 5 authors meet weekly to review components of each others’ papers and keep each other accountable until the end.

Manuscript sprint teams form twice a year and meet via Teams for 6 to 8 weeks.

UPCOMING SPRINTS [via Teams] – Deadline to sign up is 9/16.

Testimonials
I would recommend the Sprints for anyone who wants to improve their manuscript or who needs a little push or motivation to meet a deadline.

~ Manuscript Sprints Participant

The Manuscript Sprint was a great program that helped me write up a manuscript for a longstanding project. Over 6 weeks I wrote a full draft of the paper and got lots of helpful feedback from the other participants.

~ Manuscript Sprints Participant

I joined the sessions for a manuscript I have been working on for some time, and the sessions really pushed me to finally shape the manuscript into its final versions. Before each session, we revised each other’s drafts and I was impressed on how much insightful feedback I got each time!
